The Astronomical New Moon is on Tuesday, 27 September 2011 at 1209BST.The crescent will not be visible anywhere on this day. It can be easily seen on Wednesday, 28 September 2011 in New Zealand, America and Africa.
According to the rulings of Ayatullah Sistani (based on The Theory of Differing Horizons), 1st Dhul Qa’dah 1432AH will be on Friday, 30 September 2011. For the Muqallideen of Marhum Ayatullah Khui, 1st Dhul Qa’dah 1432AH will be on Thursday, 29 September 2011.
