Leeds Jammat Members conquer Ben Nevis (Highest Mountain in UK) and raised £1000 pounds for Leeds Baab-Ul-Ilm Mosque.

Mrs Arifa Bhamani, Mr Rashid Bhamani, Mr Shabbir Merali and Salim Meghjee climbed Ben Nevis, which at 4406ft or 1344m is the highest mountain in United Kingdom.  It is located near Fort Williams in Scotland.

Leeds Madressa children Abseiled 150 feet and raised £400 for  Baab- Ul-Ilm.

In July 2006, a group of intrepid children (along with many, a fearless parent) from Leeds Madressa set out for the Yorkshire Dales. Flying in the face of driving rain, they were out to raise money for Leeds Baab-Ul-Ilm.  All fears of heights were laid aside as the group of 30 kids, some no older than 8 years, made their way down the magnificent Malham Cove - a mighty 150 foot vertical drop.
