voice-of-al-husayn-united-in-humanityImam Husayn (a.s) on the plains of Karbala cried out 'Is there anyone to help me?'

From the tragedy of Imam Husayn (a.s) emerges an everlasting victory for humanity. Our Imam (a.s) stood up against oppression, he stood up for truth and justice. It is now our duty to keep his legacy alive, and answer his call for help.

Voice of Al Husayn (VoAH) has organised a march entitled 'United in Humanity' to be held on Saturday 23rd January 2010 in Victoria Square, Birmingham City Centre.

The procession will feature speeches on the humanitarian nature of Imam Husayn (a.s) by prominent figures of different faiths, backgrounds and ethnicities.  Moreover, the National Blood Service will also be in attendance to enable participants to register for donating blood as a symbolic gesture to represent the bloodshed of Imam Husayn (a.s).
