What a weekend!!

We had an record amount of participants in this year's tournament. New winners in almost all categories and a very nice ambiance. There were some hickups, some confusion was created by teams not showing up, some schedules messed up by last minute player withdrawals due to injuries in previous sports, or other reasons but overall everything went smoothly and most participants left with a nice smile on their faces and a belly full of exquisite traditional food.

Let's not forget the main purpose of the event, some good healthy, friendly competition in different sports. This was delivered by all participants as it seemed like everyone had improved tremendously since last year. We met some new people this year, new entries and it was a great pleasure.

The boys from Stockholm, Sweden had a nice go at Football and hopefully enjoyed it enough to come back next year.

We would definetely want to have them back.

We remember when the Trollhattan, Sweden team first joined us and how can we forget their huge WIN this year in the Over 19 Football category.

Well played boys!

Apart from Stockholm, we had a new team called Unity Dubai also join us. after spending one day with them, it felt like we had known them all our lives.

They were a delight to have around and well done to them as well, they got to the semi-finals of the Volleyball competion.

Speaking of volleyball competition,

Stanmore A finally broke Leicester A's winning streak and took the trophy home this year.

A big congratulations to both teams and also a very big thank you to each and every player for playing such a fantastic final.

As you can all imagine, an event like this takes a lot of time and dedication from a lot of people.

These range from the participants to the organisers, from the volunteers to the family members.

All these individuals have worked extremely hard and it is thanks to them all that we had such a nice weekend.

Here are some photos to give an example of some of the work that went into some of the events:
