ICA Mubaligheen Conference 2011

DSC01782The annual Mubaligheen conference of the Islamic Cultural Affairs committee of The Council of European Jamaats was held this year at Masjid –al- Husayn in Leicester on Sunday 2nd October 2011. Around 45 participants attended this conference for which the theme was ‘Ijtihad, its importance and challenges’.

The chairman of the CoEJ al Haj Dr Husein Jiwa addressed the delegates highlighting the importance of the role of mubaligheen in conveying the message of Ahlul bayt most sincerely and replying to various challenges that arise in the contemporary and current era.

If you have a guest with you, who has arrived at your house before sunset on the eve of Eid ul Fitr, then his/her Fitra is WAJIB upon you.

Al-Gadheer Library Project Update

al-gadheer
Al-Ghadeer library project is one of the most successful projects undertaken by the Islamic Cultural Affairs (ICA ) committee of CoEJ whereby Mo’mineen from various Jamaats took part in this very noble cause by donating A£50 towards a set of books to be placed at various institutions including prisons, hospitals and public libraries. The package includes a set of books that have been carefully selected to give a good balanced theoretical and practical overview to the Shia faith, including:

•    The Koran Translation – By Tahrike Tarsile  Quran , Inc.
•    Peak of eloquence (Nahjul Balagha)
•    Discovering Shiaism  in Islam by Shaikh Shomali
