The Centre for Academic Shi’a Studies requests the pleasure of your company for the third seminar of its Shi’a Islam Seminar Series at the Al-Khoei Benevolent Foundation, London.
Shi’a Islam Lecture Series – May 2010 Seminar, entitled Female Shi’i Islamic Scholarship: Problems and Solutions, will be delivered by Amina Inloes* (BA MA MA), Lecturer and Researcher at the Islamic College, London. 

The event will take place at The Al-Khoei Foundation, Chevening Road, London NW6 6TN, on Thursday 20 May 2010 commencing at 6:30 pm.

*Amina Inloes was born in California in the United  States. She has a BA (University of California, Los Angles) degree in Near Eastern Studies with an emphasis on the Arabic language, an MA (University of California, Irvine) degree in teaching, and another MA in Islamic Studies at the Islamic College (London). She is the author of the Tragedy of Karbala, a dramatic interpretation of the martyrdom of Imam Husain (A) and an introductory work on Islam. She currently works for the Islamic College in London as a lecturer and a member of the Department of Research and Publications. She is planning to start a PhD in Islamic Studies at the University of Exeter in this autumn.
